à Richard Ier et à l’abbaye du Mont

de multiples variétés offre aux habitants
et aux promeneurs un cadre propice à la détente.
Pour les plus actifs, les environs offrent 50 kilomètres
de sentiers que l’on peut parcourir à pied,
à cheval ou en VTT selon une infinité de circuits
possibles.
Tucked away in the pastureland
between Saint-Lô and Vire, bounded by the Vire River,
the town of Domjean, with its old stones, its rambling paths
and many cultural activities has everything walkers who
love nature and authenticity could want. Domjean is rightly
proud of its church (which belonged to Richard I and the
Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel) ornamented with superb sculptures
and frescoes.
A country park in the heart of the village with paths edged
with trees and flowers of many varieties is a relaxing venue
for locals and walkers. For the more active, there are 50
kilometres of paths nearby for walking, riding, and mountain-biking
with an infinite number of possible routes. |
